Cat A+, 3500 sqft, 2 week build
Savills IM approached JT3 to help with the 4th floor in their building near Old Street in the city. The space had previously been under offer to an occupier but the deal had fallen away and therefore the decision was made to turn the space into a plug and play offering, otherwise known as Cat A+. In order to help the marketability of the space, the JT3 design team provided Savills IM with a floor layout that incorporated a solution for the furniture and kept the warehouse feel of the space that is a much sought after feature with occupiers in this area.
The existing office had the benefit of some meeting rooms and a kitchen but was in need of furniture and updating overall. A vibrant new herringbone style carpet was put down in the open plan area along with new furniture and electrical cabling installed throughout.
The space includes a holding area with seating near the main entrance, a large boardroom with tables and chairs, two further meeting rooms and a large open plan desk area adjacent to a breakout bar and kitchenette. The space was presented in a flexible style so that an incoming occupier could move desks and chairs around if required.
